  • Age Limit: Anyone 9 years of age or older is allowed to throw with a signed liability waiver from a parent or guardian!

  • Deposit: A deposit of 50% is required for a reservation.

  • Walk-ins available most days before 6pm or after 9pm.

  • Tipping: Tips in cash or on card are appreciated by our coaches! Groups of 11+ include an automatic 15% gratuity.

THE SESSION

You will be led through the beginning of your experience with a safety briefing and an instructional period with one of our awesome coaches. They will get you started and then help you shape the experience to whatever you would like, whether that be a tournament, some casual games, or just honing your skills. Your session will have two targets by default (twice what you get most other places!).

GROUP EVENTS

We love to work with large groups!

Our SE Foster location can accommodate up to 50 people (10 targets). We also have our two-target mobile trailer that we can park outside our location to accomodate groups of 50-75 people.

DRINKS & BYO FOOD

Drinks: Our location on SE Foster offers a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage options,

Food: We have packaged snacks (nuts, trail mix, dried fruit, etc). We are located next to Nayar Taqueria, which will give you a buzzer to take back to Portland Axe and you can pick up your food when it’s ready!

In general, outside food is welcome, and we encourage you to bring food from nearby businesses or your home!

SAFETY

Portland axe throwing complies with the safety guidelines laid out by the International Axe Throwing Federation (IATF)! Your coach will go over the main safety rules for each location with you, but we are required to collect waivers, provide a trained coach to enforce safety, contain our targets in chain link, and draw standardized safety lines.

Cancellation Policy

We pride ourselves on our flexibility. Please reach out to us as soon as you can if you have to reschedule or cancel your session. As long as you contact us 24 hours or more before your session time, we are happy to provide a full refund. If it is within 24 hours of your session time, we will charge you 50% of your session cost. If you do not call us, we will charge you the full price.
