  • Age Limit: Anyone 9 years of age or older is allowed to throw with a signed liability waiver from a parent or guardian!

  • Deposit: A deposit of 50% is required for a reservation.

  • Tipping: Tips in cash or on card are appreciated by our coaches! Groups of 11+ include an automatic 15% gratuity.

THE SESSION

Whichever location you visit, you will be led through the beginning of your experience with a safety briefing and an instructional period with one of our awesome coaches. They will get you started and then help you shape the experience to whatever you would like, whether that be a tournament, some casual games, or just honing your skills. Your session will reserve two targets by default, with more added as your reservation size grows.

 

FOOD & BEVERAGES

St Johns: StormBreaker Brewing is open everyday – feel free to come before or stay after your session – let the StormBreaker host know you will be axe throwing when you arrive! Food and beverage menus can be found here.

SE Foster: Our location on SE Foster offers a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage options, and we encourage you to bring food from nearby businesses in with you to enjoy!

 

SAFETY

Portland axe throwing complies with the safety guidelines laid out by the International Axe Throwing Federation (IATF)! Your coach will go over the main safety rules for each location with you, but we are required to collect waivers, provide a trained coach to enforce safety, contain our targets in chain link, and draw standardized safety lines.

Here’s what you can do to help us keep you safe:

GROUP EVENTS

We love to work with large groups!

Our StormBreaker location in Saint John’s can accommodate 35 people in our space, or up to 85 if you coordinate with StormBreaker to use their event space next to us!

Our SE Foster location can accommodate up to 50 people.

If you need a larger size, we recommend getting a quote on our mobile trailer so we can bring the fun to you!

 

Cancellation Policy

We pride ourselves on our flexibility. Please reach out to us as soon as you can if you have to reschedule or cancel your session. As long as you contact us 24 hours or more before your session time, we are happy to provide a full refund. If it is within 24 hours of your session time, we will charge you 50% of your session cost. If you do not call us, we will charge you the full price.
